SMS Choir Upcoming concert Detailed information:
December 6 – at Smyrna Middle.  Wear black.  Be there at 4:30 if possible.  Concert is at 5.   Free to the public.

** DUE to Mrs. DiDomenico's health, the other two concert performances (December 8 at Smyrna High and Dec. 11 at Bethlehem Marketplace) have been cancelled.

Carpe Artista in Smyrna has been rehearsing a production of 
Disney's Aladdin Kids.  Performance Dates are November 11 & 12 at 7PM in the HUB at Lifepoint Church, Smyrna.

Mrs. DiDomenico

is the choir and music teacher at SMS.  She has a Bachelor of Music Degree with an emphasis in percussion and a Master of Arts Degree in Music Education.  She has taught for 17 years, 16 of them in Rutherford County.  "Mrs. D" has taught band, general music, and choir from Kindergarten through 12th grade.  She is married and has five children.  She attends Lifepoint Church in Smyrna. 

MTVA

Middle Tennessee Vocal Association
or MTVA, is the association that organizes and executes honor choirs and other student choir events in the Middle Tennessee area.  Vocal rehearsal tracks, audition and event schedules, and other information are located on their website.  

General Music Class

General Music Class is a class at Smyrna Middle School.  Students learn to read and write music, to play guitar, piano, drumset and world percussion.  Students will also be learning about how music is connected to the other arts and subjects outside the arts.  General music class lasts for nine weeks.
